When things go sideways, what a girl really needs by her side is a sexy wolf shifter, a steamy incubus, and a smoldering mage. Prove me wrong.

Everyone has heard of Bloodfire Academy. It's an elite school that takes the best of the best in the supernatural world. The students at Bloodfire are the children of members of a secret order. Think Illuminati but for the magical world. But even more powerful.

Membership is inherited and it turns out my late mother was one of them. Who knew? Up until now, magic hasn't really been my thing. But a girl can fake it, am I right?

There's no faking it when I meet the sexy wolf shifter, steamy incubus, and smoldering mage. Seriously, this semester is going to be hot.

Then the attacks start. I thought I could figure out the magic part, but nobody said anything about monsters. Turns out Bloodfire Academy is more about survival than GPA.

Publisher's Note: Cursed Magic is a full length, steamy, new adult paranormal academy romance where the heroine doesn't have to choose. This is book one of three in the Bloodfire Academy series.

Excerpt
The shadowy figure moves closer and this time, I can see a face. My heart pounds and heat grows low in my belly. I squeeze my thighs together as desire continues to course through me. It's Ethan and every part of me cries out for him.

I stand, ready to embrace him. It's as if he's everything I ever wanted. Finally, he reaches me and slides his hand behind my head, pulling me in for a kiss.

It's sweet and slow and delicious. It's the perfect kiss. I close my eyes, my lips matching movement with his. His tongue flicks inside my mouth and I moan. Tingles spread through my body and my panties are already wet.

This is the kind of dream I can get behind.

He pulls away from me and I open my eyes.

Only now I'm not looking at Ethan. With a gasp, I back away from the newcomer.

Despite the fact that it's no longer Ethan standing in front of me, I'm still so turned on I'm nearly ready to get it on with someone else. It's taking every ounce of my willpower not to run to him.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, horrified at my breathless words. I sound like a woman possessed. Like a woman in heat. Because I am.

"It's a dream, you tell me," he says with a growl.

I step back, bumping up against the bed and fall into the soft mattress. I stare at him, gripping the sheets, urging myself to stay put. I can't give in to the temptation. There's no reason for this. No explanation for why, out of all the males I could have in a dream, that I'm staring into Hayden's face.

"I don't control my dreams," I say.

"And yet, you summoned me," he says as he takes a step closer.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I was asleep and you called me here," he says. "Rather rudely, I might add. I was in the middle of someone else."

To my surprise, the thought of him in someone else's sex dream sends a flicker of jealousy through me. It's irrational. What the fuck is my subconscious doing to me?

"That's impossible," I say. "I can't call anyone into my dreams."

"You were thinking about me, I guess." His expression is different than usual. His eyes heavy with lust, a slight smirk on his lips.

He can sense my desire. Even in a dream.

"You're an incubus." I'm not sure why I never thought about it before. I never wondered what kind of creature my mentor was. Usually when he was around I just thought about how badly I wanted to get away from him.

"Nice of you to finally notice," he says. "Funny how you mages are always so self-absorbed that you don't even care to think about anyone else."

"That's not true," I say. "I simply don't like you enough to care what you are."

"Then how come I can smell your arousal?" he teases.

"You can't smell arousal," I say, though I'm not sure if that's true. Maybe he can. He is a sex demon after all. "You should go."

"I could," he says. "Or we could finish what you started."

"I didn't start anything," I say.

He's next to me now, sitting on the bed, inches from me. My breathing is shallow and the only thing I want to do is succumb. Stupid incubus.

"Why are you fighting it?" he asks.

"Because you don't like me and I don't like you," I say.

"This isn't real," he reminds me. "This is a dream."

"But it's real to you," I say.

He leans closer, his lips hover above mine. I breathe him in and my whole body is tingling. I want nothing more than to press my lips to his.

But it isn't real.

And I don't even like him.

I lean back. "No."

He cocks an amused eyebrow. "No?"

"No," I say, voice firm.

He shrugs, that cocky grin on his face.

I open my eyes, instantly alert, ripped from the dream. Blinking, I allow my eyes to adjust to the dim sunlight before sitting up.
