Series: Blue Ridge Book Club #2
Publication date: November 3rd, 2021
Synopsis:
He's the hot new Spanish teacher.
I'm the principal.
That spells trouble with a capital T.
My story is simple. I'm one of the lucky ones. I had a man who rocked my world. I loved with my whole heart. Then, I lost. But at least I'd loved, and I had a son to keep his father's memory alive. I never thought I would be interested in a man again. Between herding a teenager toward manhood and running the highest-ranking elementary school in Azalea County, I didn't have time for anything more than a fictional book boyfriend.
Then, Mr. Morales strolled down my hall and hola'd his way straight to my starved libido.
Work used to be my sanctuary. Now, every day is sweet torture.
I can't lead a staff meeting without picturing him naked. One smile renders me speechless. I'm swooning in the halls, and it's not because one of the students brought tuna fish for lunch. I may be hot for teacher, but I'll never have another man in my life.
Especially one like Morales who's more trouble than he's worth.
Don't miss out on this steamy romantic comedy set in the small town of Mossy Oak, North Carolina, where you'll find the best bookshop in the world, a gold-medal winery, and an abundance of book boyfriends.

Excerpt
She lifted her head, and our mouths met as if they had their own agenda. We kissed softly.
"Better?" I asked, rubbing my cheek against hers.
She melted into me a little more. Our lips found each other's again, and our tongues touched tentatively. Her hands laced around my neck, fingers tangling in my hair.
I'd missed this more than I thought possible. I pulled back, breaking the kiss that threatened to put a hole in my heart.
"It's okay," I said, trying to lighten the mood. "It's hot in there."
She shook her head. "I feel crazy."
"I know. Me too." I'd done nothing but obsess over her for a week. She hadn't been at recess. She never came to the break room anymore. I had been dying to see her, but our paths had stopped crossing. "I'm leaving tomorrow," I said. "I won't see you for ten days."
Her eyes found mine and held. "I want to come. I want to be with you."
I hooked my arm around her waist and backed her up against the desk. I forced myself not to pounce on her like a hungry lion. "You do?"
"Yes, Joey."
She said my name as if she wanted to devour me. A stray lock of hair fell from her ponytail, and it was all I could to do to keep from brushing it off her cheek.
I wanted to rip her clothes off and fuck her right on top of the desk, but it wouldn't be enough. I needed more than a quickie with Gabriella. I needed more than a stolen afternoon or a forbidden breakfast.
I dipped my head and kissed her, taking more than I should. She met my kiss with her own demands. I broke away, content to know I had her to myself for at least a few days.
"You missed me, didn't you?" I teased.
"Don't be un gallo." She grinned up at me, and her hand snuck to my package and stroked me through my shorts.
I grabbed her wrist with a growl. My swelling dick didn't need encouragement. "Don't start."
She stretched up on her tiptoes and kissed my cheek in an innocent gesture that felt sexy as hell. "Sorry."
