Desired Format:
I personally prefer ARCs or physical copies of the books I review but I have several digital devices for electronic book format.
Preferred Genres:
I am open to any and all genres but have a strong pull towards romance books. Even if the romance is merely a flicker in the storyline, I'll be sucked in. My favorite genres are:
- Contemporary Romance
- Paranormal Romance
- New Adult (everything)
- Science Fiction/Fantasy
- Dystopian
- Epic Fantasy
- Young Adult (anything)
If you are requesting I read a book that is part of a series, I prefer to have the entire series to read together. My OCD dictates that I always read a series in order, even if they are fully able of being standalones.
Rating System
I am always fair with my reviews. I don't sugar-coat and I don't lie when it comes to my opinion of a book I have read (whether provided for review or purchased myself). I will explain my stance on the book for review and the rating from one "cup of coffee" review to five "cups of coffee" is all in accordance with how likely I am to recommend the book or reread the book at a later date. If the review is 3 or more "cups of coffee" I will often tag the author in the post for their viewership.
Review Schedule
I try to be diligent with the reviews but making promises of a time frame is hard to do. I work and have a very active and demanding 3-year-old which makes the time for reading a little less than it was before motherhood/adulthood. I do always make sure that the books I state I will review are read and reviewed above all others. If you are wanting a review done before a book is to be released, give me a few weeks wiggle room so I can make that happen for you. If you have a time limit, please state that in your request.
