To him I'm just his little sister's best friend. To me, he's the guy I can never have.

I've spent countless nights fantasizing about him, wondering what it would feel like to touch him--to be touched by him. Just the thought of being with Sin, allowing him to corrupt my body any way he wanted was enough to tip me over the edge.

But he's the forbidden fruit I'll never be allowed to take a bite of. Even though I'd risk a whole lot just for a tiny taste, I can't risk my lifelong friendship with Maya.

I know how to keep my feelings to myself. I've been doing it for years. Only problem is, Sin is back from college and I've seen the way he stares at me. It's different, feral--like I'm the craving he needs to sate.

And the thing is... if Sin wants me, Sin will have me.

Excerpt
Before I could tumble down a flight of stairs, my body was pressed hard against the hallway wall.

"Be careful." Sin whispered, mouth close to my ear. He had one hand on my hip and the other on the wall next to my head. My body hummed in approval at the close contact.

Where did he come from? What was he doing up? "Sorry," I thought he would release me, but he didn't. Instead, he pressed the lower half of his body against me. Wedging his knee between my legs.

"Do you have any idea what would've happened if I wasn't here?" His breath fanned across my cheek. His hand traveled up my arm, cupping my neck. "You could've broken your neck," Then back down my arm, "or your arm," Then finally rested on my hip, "or your hip." Since I was wearing a tank top it had risen slightly since my near death experience. His hand was resting on my bare skin, giving me goosebumps.

"I-I know." What was he doing to me? He stared into my eyes, and it might have been my imagination, but it seemed like he was leaning in. Was he leaning in? Was Sin going to kiss me?

"Just be careful." As quickly as he showed up he was now gone, leaving me breathless against the wall. Oh my. I continued my venture to the kitchen. I definitely need water to cool down now.
