All the Wrong Places by Randi Perrin
Publication date: June 25th, 2019

Synopsis (according to Goodreads):
American-born, Australian-raised Rachel Kennedy was born to be an actress--all the way down to her drama queen ways. But when a bad day leaves her life and her dreams in ruins, she's not sure what to do next. Her silver spoon-upbringing never prepared her for that.

With a bank account at nothing and an inability to pull off a convincing accent for casting directors, Rachel's about to give up on everything. Not on her best friend's watch. Lily is tehre to help her every step of the way--if the definition of help involves convincing her to take drastic measures, each one blowing up more than the one that came before.

Once Lily shoves Rachel into the let's-get-drunk-and-screw-a-stranger phase, she winds up tangled in the arms of Christian Whitmore, a cop with a sinful smile, sexy stubble, and impeccable timing. He's there to pick her up when she falls and to take her out for fish and chips at her favorite place.

But then again, so is his idential twin brother, Kevin. Double. Trouble.

Stuck at a major crossroads in her life, can Rachel ever find happiness again, or is she just looking in all the wrong places?

Wiping the sleep crusties out of my eyes, I was greeted by an officer leaning against the doorway, a coffee cup in each hand. The name on his chest introduced him as Officer Whitmore.

"Morning," he said with a sinfully hot, self-assured smile. Had I been brave enough, I would have offered to let him frisk me. "Rachel, right?"

"H-how do you know my name? What did I do last night?" My hand flew to the back of my head, and I felt for bumps.

"You don't remember me?" The smile fell off his face, replaced with a crestfallen look that broke my heart. No one that hot should ever look that sad.

Nor should I ever be face-to-face with a hot guy after a night of drinking because I turn into a mess of emotions that make no sense.

"No. I'm pretty sure I would remember dealing with you." The man standing on my porch was downright gorgeous in all his hotness and glory. And he knew my name.

He had the most welcoming blue eyes and dark brown hair in a high and tight buzz cut. His uniform shirt strained to cover the muscles on his chest. His voice was husky, and although I've been in Australia long enough that I barely notice accents any more, his made my knees go weak.

Just then, Lily walked up and stood beside me, completely dressed and in make-up. To go out, she'd take hours to get out the door, but a hot guy shows up at the door and she's photo-ready in five minutes.

Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure I looked like a warmed-up version of Hades, still wearing the dress from the night before, one of my fake eyelashes hanging onto my right eyelid on a wish and a prayer, and I wouldn't be surprised if my hair resembled a rat's nest instead of curls. I dropped my head into my hands, which was the perfect opportunity to jerk off the offending eyelash. At least maybe I'd look a bit more presentable that way.

"Oh, hey Saviour, what's up?" Lily's voice was far too chipper for the morning after we'd been drinking like we had.

I shot a bone-chilling look in her direction.

How in the world? What kind of magic beans does she have that cure hangovers? I want some.

The cop in front of us smiled. "Well, at least someone remembers me. I was starting to wonder when I became so forgettable."

About the Author:
English may be Randi's first language, but she's the most fluent in sarcasm, and it shows in her writing. She is known for creating snarky, realistic characters--badass heroines who can hold their own and flawed, yet lovable heroes. Like Randi, her characters run on caffeine and swear words.

Her characters are often built around dichotomy, much like Randi herself. Although she is the least romantic person in the world, she writes romance. She also refuses to pick a lane on the romance highway, sometimes writing contemporary, often times paranormal, but always smokin' hot.

She is the author of the Earthbound Angels paranormal romance series, several contemporary romance novellas including Anticipating Temptation and Mi Amor, and a gay romance novella entitled Wreck You. She has also had several short stories published in anthologies. Her next full-length novel, a romantic comedy entitled All the Wrong Places, will be out in Summer 2019.
